My scope of activity is the emotional space between viewer and work. I use emotions as transmitter and mirror of social conditions. It is not a matter of pointing out particular social incidents. Moreover the unconscious condition of a society relevant mood or frame of mind is voiced. I try to develop visual models, which at the most stay transparent in their psychological account, otherwise postulate openness as resistance. My vocabulary is the figure and the landscape, and the space that is built in the construction of those two, enlarging to the space of the viewer.


Mein Arbeitsfeld ist der emotionale Raum zwischen Betrachter und Bild. Emotionen werden als Transmitter und Spiegel gesellschaftlicher Zustände eingesetzt. Es gilt nicht, spezielle gesellschaftliche Ereignisse aufzuzeigen. Vielmehr soll der unbewusste Zustand einer gesellschaftlichen Gemütslage zum Ausdruck gebracht werden. Ich versuche bildnerische Modelle zu entwickeln, die höchstens in ihrem psychologischen Kalkül durchschaubar bleiben, ansonsten aber eine Offenheit als Widerstand postulieren. Mein Vokabular ist die Figur und die Landschaft und der Raum der sich in der Konstruktion aus diesen ergibt, erweiternd zum Raum des Betrachters.
